Project 1: Stockings for Soldiers
Help spread holiday cheer to our brave men and women serving overseas!
We’re partnering with StockingsForSoldiers.org to send stockings stuffed with goodies for Christmas and Hanukkah.
We Provide: All materials, patterns, and instructions.
You Bring: Your sewing machine, your time, your smile, and donations of Christmas, patriotic, or colorful cotton fabric (optional).
Cost: A $10 donation to stuff stockings. Kits and fabric are free! Just let us know which day(s) and time(s) you’ll attend so we can reserve your spot.
Project 2: Sew a Purse .. Change a Life
Make a difference for young girls in Zambia by creating purses for SewPowerful.org. Each purse is filled with reusable hygiene supplies, helping girls stay in school all month long.
We Provide: Fabric, patterns, and instructions.
You Bring: Your sewing machine, a $10 donation per purse (to cover hygiene supplies) and any colorful cotton fabric you’d like to share.
Cost: No fee for the kit, just your helping hands and generous heart!
How to Join the Fun: Stop by the shop to learn more about each organization or visit their websites. Then, sign up for your preferred date(s) and time(s) and get ready for a day of sewing, laughter, and making a difference.
