Educator

Laurie LaGrange Laurie was introduced to sewing at a young age by her mother, but it wasn’t until college that she developed her own interest in sewing. After making a baby quilt for a friend, the joy of sewing was sparked! Laurie continued her pursuit of becoming a high school math teacher, and it wasn’t until leaving the classroom years later that she entered the sewing industry. She began by working for a large sewing retailer in Colorado. It was there that she was introduced to the wonderful world of embroidery and the Floriani software. She quickly realized there was sew much to learn and she went all in. Before long, Laurie had combined her love of teaching and her passion for the Floriani software and was teaching classes on a regular basis. Those classes expanded to include machine classes, Brother ScanNCut and other RNK software. Ten years later, Laurie moved to Oklahoma where she worked for another large sewing retailer for about a year. Laurie then decided to start her own business as an independent educator where she enjoys inspiring others through creative education. She is a certified RNK National Educator and is excited to be sharing her knowledge and her passion for all things RNK with sewing enthusiasts around the country.
