Quilt in the Hoop for Beginners

Let your embroidery machine do all the work!! If you have never made a quilt with your embroidery machine, this is the class for you. We’ll walk you through all the steps and show you how easy it is to quilt with your embroidery machine and HoopSisters patterns.

WHAT TO BRING:

              Embroidery machine in good working order, bobbins, embroidery presser foot, power cord

              HoopSisters design of your choosing – 

                    1. Stop by Stony Brook to choose a pattern available in stock. 

                                    OR

                     2. Purchase a design from www.HoopSisters.com.  Download onto USB before                                                                    class. Bring instructions and pattern 

              Hoop size needed for design

               Fabric scissors

·                              Small scissors to cut applique fabric

·                              Embroidery needles, size 80/12

                    Embroidery thread to coordinate with design

                     Wash-a-Way thread

                    Fabric needed for design (see instructions)

                     Battalizer (see instructions for quantity)
