Description
This bag comes in 2 different sizes and comes together quickly with the creative use of darts and the creative use of front and back fabric. Try your hand at using a bit of purse hardware, including your choice of magnetic snap or twist lock. The samples in the photo are made with cork, home dec fabric or cotton fabric.
What to Bring:
Sewing machine in good working order, power cord, foot control, accessory feet that come with the machine.

Basic Sewing Supplies:
8" bent handle shears
small scissors or snips to trim thread
6" metal seam guage
seam ripper
tape measure
Wonder Clips (preferred) or pins
fabric marking pen or pencil
all purpose thread to coordinate with fabric
Universal needle, size 90/14
3/4 yd exterior fabric (1/2 yd will be enough if using 54" wide cork or vinyl)
1/2 yd lining fabric
1/2 yd foam interfacing (Annie's Soft and Stable, Bosal In-R-Foam, Pellon Flex Foam). If using Flex Foam, it is only 20" wide so purchase at least 1 yd. For softer, slouchier bag, substitute fleece for the foam interfacing.
