Back to basics class.  This class will show you how to make 6 1/2″ half square triangles and join them together in a quilt top.  Prerequisite: know how to use your sewing machine or completed the “Learn How to Use Your Sewing Machine” class. Stop by the shop to see the sample. $59 + class supplies

Book:  “3 Yard Quilt Favorites" by Donna Robertson. You may use “Dancing Geese" on page 4 or “Pinwheel" on page 10             

Sewing machine in good working order, power cord, foot control, sewing machine manual

     New needle

     Extra bobbins

     1/4" piecing presser foot

Fabric: 3-1yd cuts of fabric. 1 yard is your focus fabric, 2 yards that coordinate (light and dark). If you plan to use this quilt in the “Double Fold Binding" class, purchase 1 1/4 yards.

Thread: 50 weight cotton that blends with your fabric

Rotary cutter: 45mm preferred, with new blade

Rotary cutter rulers: at least 7" long and 7" wide

Quilting pins:  pin cushion is helpful, but not necessary

Small scissors or snips

Seam ripper
