This class is designed to teach young sewers (8-14 years old) the proper way to use their new sewing machine, including how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, use basic stitches like straight stitch and zig zag.  Students will begin to recognize basic sewing terminology such as seam, presser foot, foot control, back stitch and more.

A simple project completed in class will allow students to practice what they have learned.
